Extremely Disappointing Experience

Keep away from this agent. Close friends of ours recently had a terrible experience after breaking their lease due to the property becoming unsafe—the back deck was literally falling apart. Despite the serious safety issues that required them to relocate at their own expense, the agent withheld their $6,000 bond over what can only be described as trivial matters.

To make matters worse, the bond was held for two months, adding even more financial stress.

As property owners ourselves, we would never trust this agency to manage our homes, nor would we recommend them to anyone looking to rent. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional and deeply disappointing.

When talking Property Managers, I highly recommend Amanda Onderstal! As a tenant, Amanda was always available, knowledgeable and extremely efficient.
It was very easy to trust Amanda and any repairs or queries on the property were responded to in record time.
Amanda possesses an in-depth knowledge of Qld rental policy, which is a huge advantage for both tenant and landlord.

Australasian Property Managers of the Year. With both commercial and residential properties in need of careful management it was with some trepidation we decided to collate the job into the one office; Image Property Mooloolaba.
Best thing we ever did as the team of Megan and Stefanie have been absolutely fabulous in the search for tenants. At all time we have been kept informed and updated regularly and were made to feel that the whole office was working with us. Like it really was their property too.

My families personal experience with Image Property was disappointing and I advise against using the agency. We had a landlord by the name Stefanie Gibson at Image Property for our rental property and she lacked knowledge, experience, professionalism and just common sense. My opinion is Stefanie needs to change industries or go back for some refresher courses in property management as she is lacking any form of knowledge in her industry and it’s showing extensively in her form. Please steer clear for your own sanity and if management comes by this review, I highly recommend you reassess having Stefanie as your employee to represent your agency.

Took the Stress Out and Delivered, Mark Is the Best Agent. Mark was recommended to me and I am really glad I got the intro. Partway through selling my mum’s place in the gated community at Pacific Haven, Caloundra / Battery Hill, she had a serious stroke and I had to step back from things. Mark took charge straight away and handled everything, including dealing directly with the solicitors & tradies, which took a massive load off my shoulders. He kept me updated the whole way through and still managed to secure a record sale price! The. Best. Agent.

Worst real estate I’ve ever dealt with. Stefanie Gibson couldn’t run a lemonade stand..

Sent handyman into home without entry notice,
They also entered property to collect lock box without entry notice or even telling us.

Withheld $2700 bond for over 6 weeks for pre existing issues listed on condition report which was 2x small paint patches and “grass not looking the same as move in date” which was due to coming into hotter months and extensive heat waves. Provided photos and videos of entire property but they would not agree with us. They ended up coming down to wanting around $350 which we refused to pay to prove a point that they cannot rip people off as they please.

Went to rental tribunal and after several weeks they got our entire bond refund back and they stated how childish and delusional the real estate agent was.

This real estate seem to think they can do as they wish and try take money out of genuine people even with all the evidence in front of them.

Do yourself a favour and find a professional real estate agent to rent through or look after your property. You will have nothing but issues from my own person experience.

Sam Thompson was fantastic to work with when selling my 97-yr old grandmother's house. He's really down to earth and genuine, and was regularly checking in to make sure my grandmother & the rest of the family were comfortable throughout the whole sales process. He knows the Aroona market well and gave us great advice on what to do to prepare the property for sale. In the end, he found the perfect buyers at the right price - we couldn't have asked for a better sales agent. Highly recommend Sam!
